As most of you know, where I live... when people dosen't want an animal, they take it off. Well, last night my sister and I went to one of the several trash-dumps that is in my area. What we found was a stray cat living under the trash-dumpster and it below freezing outside. It was a very friendly and sweet cat. As my sister and I was petting on the cat, we noticed that there was something wrong. We left and came home to get a video-camera and some food for the cat. We went back to the trash dumpster and the cat was still there. We give the cat the food and as the cat ate, we stood there and waited for it to finish it's meal. After the cat finished eating, we got the video-camera out of my car and turned on the light (which on my camera, is located at the front). As we were filming the animal, that's when we saw it. The cat had a huge HOLE in the side of it's STOMACH!!! ~"Yes, a HOLE in the side of it's STOMACH!!"~ It was Horrible! The only thing I could say was "OH MY GOD". The cat seemed to be acting fine...but still...it needs help.
I have been up all night trying to think of ways that I could help it. I thought about going back to get the cat and take it to the vet, but I just don't have the money for a vet bill. I have also thought about coming up with some kind of fund-raiser, but I just don't know how to go about doing it. ~"And I don't know if people would donate money to help a stray cat!"~ I also thought about taking it to the pound, but with the cat being in the shape that it was...the pound would put the animal to sleep. And I don't want to do that without knowing weather of not it has a chance of living! ~I dont want to take away an animals life, when it had a fighting chance.~ I don't want to be a murder. If I can find the cat help... I swear, my sister and I would do everything in our power to find it a loving home! I just don't know what to do!!
Please, please, if anyone knows of anything that I could do to help this animal, please; tell me! I am begging you!

Please, Please , Please call your local ASPCA. They are funded by public donations and can give this cat medical attention. Only a Vet can assess this problem and if this cat has any chance, it needs immediate medical help. If the cat ate food and was acting OK, there is hope that it can be saved. If it is beyond help, then it is better to humanely put it to sleep, rather than let it suffer. Please don't wait!

Tumeria33 is right! If you don't hurry that cat could be in seriously in pain even if he/she seemed to be ok. Do you know if the cat is a girl or boy? If the cat is a girl is a she and is a stray you may want to go back to the site kittens may be there! Just hurry! Also you won’t be a murder if you humanely put him/her to sleep it will be the right thing to do. Pain is more painful than humanely put the cat to sleep. Just don’t worry either way things will be ok for the cat, humanely put the cat to sleep would put the cat into heaven, if the cat lives/survives thought the stuff that may happen he/she will living a happy life. But HURRY! Time is of the essence! Keep us informed about the cat, please!

Tumeria33 and Julfire are both right you need to call your local ASPCA and see if it is a boy or girl because if the cat had any kittens the babys will be in danger to!! and sometimes putting the animal under the shot or putting it to sleep it like the cat going to heaven!

wtf are you doing??!! you don't need to "think " of ways to help it yourself! crack open that phone book and call the freaking animal control center! thats what i did when i found a stray dog with a cracked open injury.
