My daughter just rescued a cat in a theatre she was auditioning at,- similar to Breakfast at Tiffany's scenario. She asked me to take it because she lives in an apartment and her rommate says 'no' to the cat living there. I am willing to take it, but the problem is transportation. I live in the Tri-City area of Michigan and she lives in LA, CA. I've called the Dept. of Agriculture about a health certificate required by the state of Michigan when traveling by air, and my daughter is taking the cat to the vet to get that today. We have looked into sending the cat with the pets as baggage or air cargo that the airlines provide, weather permitting, and weather is not permitting. She will not be able to accompany the cat on the flight because she has to work. She HAS to get the cat sent within 10 days of the certificate. She needs a volunteer coming this way to bring it aboard with them. Anyone out there able to help?
