I have a dog who the vet says that he might have cancer in his nose. the vet also said that to get this fixed he is going to have to get radiation, chemo therapy, a rynaoscopy, a water treatment, and more witch is going to cost a little less then $20,000. my dog is only 2 years old so he has not lived a full life or close to it and I don't want him to die but I don't have nearly enough money to save him what should I do.

P.S. I love this dog so much he is my best friend.

P.P.S. if any one has any money making ideas please post them my dog needs all the help he can get.

Dear philbert132,

Hello, to raise some money there are many different ways to help, and some are very simple! The easiest would be a gardge sale or bake sale! Another would to get a part time job that pays well. More would be like setting up posters and saying you need help, ask friend fun rasiers, annything will work. Another way to help your puppy is to not spend so much on useless stuff, not saying you do, or buy the cheaper brand or kind. But if worse comes to worse he/she, your dog, might have to have a amputation. I am very sorry if you have to do that, but don't worry, your dog will still be able to breath. Just hurry for cancer DOES spread. Good luck for Chester!!!!!

Hi again,

I think I spelled amputation wrong, it means to cut off. Sorry.

Hi Phibert,
Have you considered purchasing pet insurance? It is now available and could help with the costs. I would also check in your area to see if there are any subsidized Vets around who may help to keep costs down. Organizations such as the SPCA are funded by public donations. If your local SPCA has a Vet or clinic associated with it, they may be able to help out. If not, they may be able to point you in the right direction as to were to get cheaper medical attention. Also discuss payment options with your Vet. Very few people have $20,000 in their pocket. You can also try natropathic treatments such as organic whole foods. Some cancers respond well to dietary changes. It is interesting that our pets are now getting cancer like we are. The food is contaminated and filled with chemical additives and other horrible things (read the forum on warnings on pet food). My own cat eats only Pet Guard food which is organic, hormone and antibiotic free. He is 15 pounds of solid, explosive energy!
Good luck
