Citizens for Pets in Condos, www.petsincondos.org, has a bill we are trying to get through the Florida state legislature - The Emotional Support Animal bill.

Rep. Ralph Poppell, a member of the Jobs and Entrepreneurship Council, is balking over the "Emotional" part of the Companion Animals section of the bill........feels that there is too much of a likelihood that it can and will be abused by people wanting to have a pet in their condos. Poppell, at RALPH.POPPELL@myfloridahouse.gov or (850) 488-3006 or (321) 383-5151, and urge that he vote favorably on The Community Association Bill # H-1373........and that Section 75 dealing with Emotional Companion Animals NOT be amended or revised in any way.
