I have a problem and I need some help. There's this girl in my 6th hour class and I really like her. I've liked her since I first saw her. We've been going on and off with each other, as in when I liked her she didn't like me and vice versa. But lately I've talked to her and she's told me that she has this weird attraction to me. I asked her why she doesn't admit that she likes me and she says "My heart is telling me that it's terrified of commitment. Its also telling me that your as close to perfect as it gets." I'm not sure how to get the key to her heart. Does anyone have any advice to what I can do to win her over?
From your note I assume you are either in Jr High or High School. If that is the case she is off base in telling you she is terrified to make a committment. You are not asking her for her hand in marriage - just merely interested in dating her which is what young adults do at that age. So just tell her to don't worry about committment at this point and just consider dating and see if she likes being with you or not. If she likes how things go then you two can consider going steady - if things don't work out well then you both can agree to just remain good friends.
