I'm an American student studying in Lhasa, Tibet, PRC. I'm looking for possibly any Tibetans or people who have dated Tibetans for some advice. I recently had the opportunity to spend almost two months with a wonderful Khampa man, teaching him English. I wasn't attracted to him at first, but he grew on me. Problem is, the signals between men and woman are not the same here, and he doesn't live in Lhasa. I learned how to make some traditional Tibetan food, which he enjoyed enough to tell me both when he was still here, and after he left Lhasa, and had called from Beijing. I called him on Tibetan New Year, which was in the middle of February, but he hasn't called me. Should I just give up? Any suggestions?
