OK here is the situation: I am in high school, my girlfriends parents don't like us going out. She just broke up with me and said we could go out in College. I don't know if she really loves me, because she broke up with me 3 times before. My parents told her parents that I went over to her house when her parents weren't home. I did that twice. Is it true love that she has for me and doesn't want me to get hurt? or is it just an excuse?

I can see that many people have viewed your letter but nobody has replied. I hope that you are moving on. If this girl has broken up with you 3 times already, it's time for you to start forgetting about her. Yes, to me it sounds like an excuse to tell you to come back when you guys are in college. I have to agree with sol2 on this one. It seems like her feelings for you aren't that solid, especially if she's already broken up with you 3 times. Such an on again / off again relationship can be confusing, both for you and her. She may want one thing, but her parents want another, and having experience with that it can be quite the tug-o-war. She may also just be maintaining loyalty to her parents so as not to create conflict.

As for college, I wouldn't recommend staying in it with her. Unless you're both going to the same school, it'll be tough to maintain the broken relationship you already have while meeting new people. If the two of you come together again in college, that's fantastic, but don't waste your time and potential experiences waiting around to see.
