I've been with my current boyfriend for almost a year, and we're very serious. He's extremely jealous and controlling, however. The controlling issue may be fixed eventually, but he will always be very jealous of any guy I talk to and shows lack of trust. Needless to say, we fight a lot about this, and it brings our relationship down. My ex boyfriend has shown strong interest in me lately, and I have found that I have a lot of feelings for him still. I don't believe I ever got over our break up. Could my feelings be from my lack of satisfaction from my current boyfriend? Or is it time to start over? I want to give my current boyfriend a fair chance because I can't imagine my life without him, but it hasn't been working for awhile. My ex may drift away if I don't act interested. I'm quite unsure about everything. How do I work this out??

First of all, someone who's controlling won't just change. If you have been with him for almost a year and don't like the controlling and jealous side of him, then move on!
Second of all, have you ever thought about taking some time off to just be with yourself and noone else?
I had been with a controlling guy a long time ago, and I really thought I was gonna end up marrying him, but after 3 years I realized that I could not spend the rest of my life like this. You have a life to live, live it fully with someone who will love you and trust you, someone who you will be able to share things with and not be afraid of (his reactions).
