I'm sad to say, that at 32, I have never been on an actual real date. I think it's sad. Is this unusual or what? Am I the only person at my age who's ever had this problem? I've had b/f's before. The first was a secret relationship, so we couldn't go out together as b/f & g/f in public. The second guy I was with, thought of our thing as more of a "hanging out" type thing. So we never went on actual real dates either. I love the thought of being with someone again, but the dating process is what scares me. I haven't been with anyone in a looooooong time. It gets lonely sometimes. I wish I didn't have this fear. All the thoughts go through my head, what do I wear, do we go dutch, do I let him open doors for me, do I not, do I meet him somewhere, do I let him in the house, or not, do I kiss him goodnight, or not? Am I just worring to much? I feel like such a fool for my age and being so inexperienced. Any suggestions or advice?

I haven't been on a date either, but I am about to for my first time when my boyfriend comes to visit me this week (coming today). I have these worries too, but I guess all you can do is just let them happen as they do. You can also talk to them about that sorta of stuff, espeically the doing dutch part. I'm only nineteen, so I can't say I'm your age with this problem, but it's for a lot of people, but ya just gotta let them happen.

As for wanting to be with someone...go out. Have fun. Do something and meet people. You just might find that someone. Good luck with everything!
