The Myth is that we can detect Aliens signals or Extraterrestrial Intelligence using Radio Telescopes. Is this possible? Or is it a Myth?

The SETI@home project in Berkeley University, San Francisco has been using millions of volunteers home computers around the world to try to detect Extraterrestrial Radio transmittions. People volunteer there home computers to this search.

The scientists, Dr. David Anderson, Dr. Eric Korpela and Dr. Dan Werthimer take radio telescope data from the worlds largest radio telescope in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. They send this data to peoples home computers to process, and the volunteer send back the results to say if they have detected any Extraterrestrial radio signals.

I would like to know if the Myth Busters can prove or disprove if this is possible!
