Danny, It disappoints me that during the whole episode there is no actual recognition of the fact that the LPD has been around more than 40 years. The only reference was when you showed the diagrams of three ship models that are being replaced by the current model of LPD. The Landing Dock that was shown was an LPD. What is wrong with acknowledging that a design has withstood the test of time and is worth updating and upgrading? Your program gave the impression was that the LPD is a new ship....it's not. I'm proud to have served on the first LPD built as a Flag or Command Ship. We served a variety of missions during and after the Vietnam War.

However, I am impressed with, and excited about the current model.
