There is this bass line they have played in a few episodes (usually when one of the orangutans are walking around) that is just a few notes; kindy funky... Anyone know what this little bassy number is from? Does it have a name? I will try to find a youtube clip of it or something, but if you know where it's from that'd be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Unless you've heard it elsewhere, the composer who was contracted to write the show's music came up with it, and I'm guessing you didn't hear it anywhere else, since using music that's already copywritten costs a lot of money to use in another show. It's called "Incidental music," or "Noodling music," as we called it in college. When I was hired for piano jobs, they paid me to sit and supply music while the people arrived for dinner or the awards show or whatever the occasion was. It's just music they use to enhance the film. And as is evidenced by the way it made you feel, that's its purpose--to enhance the emotional feel of a certain scene.
My suggestion would be to watch the credits, find the name of the person/company who writes the music and then do an Ask.com search on them, then write to them and ask them the name of it.
