It has a whole article, with pictures, about our orangutans swimming in the Rungan river. I was thrilled. The comment in the series "orangutans can't swim" didn't make any sense to me. Going back to my lifeguard days, there are people who cannot float (not enough fat) but they can swim. Anyhoo, the orangutans were identified to be from Palas Island. It didn't say Palas I or Palas II, but they sure look familiar. Go to redapes.org & look !
Hi Mitchfan - I had just about given up on this website - almost no one writes anymore since the series was cancelled. I think it's still an important site to keep the public informed about the plight of our orangutans.
