and Orangutangs are the new Meerkats?????? I don't THINK so!

What a stupid commercial, AP.

the Otangs are cute, sure but they are but a mere subsitute for our beloved meerkats.

I dont like the comparason as its like comparing a apple with a orange.

I will eventually watch the monkey show but I love my meerkats to much to hear they are being replaced " monkeys are the new meerkats "

Bad marketing in my opinion since you usually say that when something is being replaced.

Is MM being cancled because if not you should not degrade it or replace it.

Well, given the incredible success of Meerkat Manor, it's inevitable that more and more shows will try to copy the same formula. Expect many more to come.

I agree though, no copies are EVER as good or fresh as the original, and the darling Meerkats will likely stay the favorite for most Smile

When monkeys fly will they EVEN come close to Meerkats.

The commercials are as sad as the show, hairy armpits and all.

What a dumb advertisement, and how dare they insault our meerkats! I'm not going to stop until the meerkats are back on top! That dumb kcomment's been causing a lot of havoc! If only those advertisers would take a look at what some of US [the little people] think! If someone here said that them old orangs are the new meerkats, they'd be sorry! Why do the celebs' comments count and ours don't? We're the reason any shows survived, and if people stoped watching the show, it'd be taken off. Am I right?

Lets not hate on the monkey show. I meant we feel deeply about animals that is why we are here. The monkey show im sure is really good and it hopefully will succeed because those guys need help also.

I am happy to see more then just 1 show on AP animal rated have a large following.

If they are having MM on for a few months then the monkey show on after the MM season what harm is it?

Lets watch a few episodes and see if we like it. if we do visit there forum also. If not keep 100% here Big Grin but the only people hurt from these fights are the animals that are just trying to survive in a humans world.

Lets ignore and not take to many of these coments to heart. Im sure they were not meant as an attack on us.

Thank you
Kevin O

Commercials are commercials...

But this is also about the Orangutans.

There are many animals that can use our help.

I have room in my heart for both of them and most other animals in this world. I've watched all of the orangatan episodes thus far and I'm lovin' those sad little eyes more and more each week! No, they aren't our sweet little meerkats but when the kats aren't around the orangatans will do!

Who cares what the commercials say. They're just commercials! These wonderful creatures are getting so close to extinction that it's a horrible tragedy. Would you hate whales if they had their own series and peolpe loved them as much as meerkats? I hope not. Frown

I don't think orangutans are the new meerkats but I like them just the same. They both are great shows.
