Did I miss something? I know the season ended, but I did not hear that the show was cancelled. If you all are referring to Class 106 being transferred to the new bigger island, then yes that is sad indeed. However, the bright side is that they are 1 step from being release to the wild all on their own. Despite the fact that they will be on the new island Lone will still monitor them, but not give them all the extras they received on Pallas Island. They will have to forage for their own food, create their own nest and just basically survive on their own. I will miss them all. I'm crossing my fingers that most survive and have lots of babies to help the orangutan population.
I don't think you missed anything. Forest school 103 won't be starring in next season's episodes because they're a step closer to real freedom. We'll have a new group of stars on Palas Island. The BIG problem is trying to get information on the show, like scheduling. We're basically told nothing.
I just started watching about a month ago. I am hooked big time. I find myself getting emotional when they get hurt. When will season 3 start? Soon I hope.

Yes, I will miss them all, too. But I am so happy they have a larger place to be set free. Two years on the islands was great training, but I understand on the larger one they will really be on their own for food. Lone made good choices for the transferees. They have chips implanted so Lone can follow them somewhat, so maybe we'll hear about them a little.
I found these guys at the beginning of season 1 & can't get enough. If you love them, support them - donate, buy their DVDs. As an aside, I finally got to watch the last 2 episodes of season 2 because the hospital I was in didnt have Animal Planet. I was devastated.
