I can not wait till the new season, it feels like forever since it was on last, I hope the time passed has brought good fortune to the orphans. Thank you for the info Rainey.

Hi pawlaw,
I would say yes, that if you order the DVD through Orangutan Outreach, the proceeds would benefit the orangutan rehabilitation centers. Please send an email to info@redapes.org to confirm. I adopted an orangutan through their adoption program and was fortunate to be able to speak to the director, Richard Zimmerman, he is a very nice person and very dedicated to saving orangutans. He will most likely be the person that will respond to you. I noticed that the DVD will also be available on Amazon, but I will definitely order my copy through Orangutan Outreach.

Hi imas,
I also hope that the orphans have had good fortune as well!
I didn't consider the fact that ordering it from Orangutan Outreach might result in donation.
I do agree, that Richard is a very nice guy. He personally responded to a couple e-mails I sent them. It's nice hearing from a fellow Orangutan fanatic.
Any news on Season 2? My Friday nights have been so empty the past few months... I've filled them with research and letter writing. I write to companies that sell or make products containing palm oil (pretty much everything does...) and encourage them to make sure they get their palm oil in an environmentally friendly manner. And then I include 2 or 3 pictures of young Orangutans.
