Hi, I noticed a few years back, our modern scientist have found a way to transport photons from one teleporter to another.
When will our modern scientist be able to break the physical "Signature" or modulation frequency of matter to it's photon signature so it can be "carried" via light or radio waves and re-assembled in another chamber?
I was hoping sometime soon, like now. I mean it's been done already, I just wanted to know when our modern scientist will catch up?
ok, what did they try it on? i like traveling on planes. not that i'm saying that that is a bad idea, but it seems a little...i dunno how to say it. uhg. my english is not so good. i have been speaking french most now. the people that we are staying with here on vacation are French. it is wierd for french people to be in Bolivia, no? my parents could talk for hours about that photon idea. i think that if we could go from europe to bolivia in seconds, that would be great!!
Ya i found this news on bbc.co.uk that A team of Australian scientists says it is able to teleport a laser beam from one place to another almost instantaneously.
Scientists at the Australian National University (ANU) made a beam of light disappear in one place and reappear in another a short distance away.
The achievement confirms that in theory teleportation is possible, at least for sub-atomic particles; whether it can be done for larger systems, such as atoms, remains to be seen.
The more likely applications will come in telecommunications, enabling much faster transfer of data and the use of encryption that can never be broken.
