I just wanted to drop in and say that the flipper, David Burg, did a truly heart felt act, by collecting all of their personal items for them. Not many people would do that. He makes me think that there are still good & honest people in Los Angeles. Thanks for a good show, it was very different than the others I have seen. How can I contact you directly for possible work on my house?
CharlesH, I contacted the only relative I could find in California. He flew down from Sacramento a few weeks later, and retrieved everything. He gave me a bottle of Scotch, and thanked me over and over. The Purple Hearts are going to go back East, to a Veterans Memorial Site/Museum, where he grew up, and his extended family still lives.
I have to tell you not much on TV moves me to write to anyone but the way you handled the collection of the personal belongings and still usable items from the house was inspiring. My first thought when I saw the clutter was "They're not going to just trash it all, are they?" I am glad to see profit wasn't your sole motivation, but compassion and "green" thinking shaped your actions. The project really came out nice.
