I wish!! I've tried the to-do lists, I have baskets of stuff to tote things from upstairs to downstairs... and a big master family calendar. But inevitably I forget something!
This year, we're working on doing a velcro-based calendar. It's meant to help the kids as well as mom. We'll have their day mapped out (breakfast, brush teeth, school, dinner, bath, etc.) on little icons, and the kids get to move the icons from the planning part of calendar, over to the "done" portion. It's hard to explain online, but it looks cute!
I have to plan my meals for the week! I plot my menus and then make my grocery list. I find I'm actually spending less money at the store when I go in with a set plan. Plus, I don't find myself trapped in the "what am I going to make for dinner" zone.
My mom had placenta previa when she was pregnant with me. I'm going by what she had so don't quote me on this because it's more than likely different for everyone but she couldn't walk for very long because she would bleed. So I would say try not to be on your feet a lot and keep your feet elevated. That's what she did and she had a lot of problems carrying me and ended up having to have a c-section about a month and half early just to make sure I got here okay.
a great tip I accidentally discovered on the 4th day of a 5 day trip to disney world. My four year old kept begging to be carried but we just couldn't do it anymore. Finally I picked her up and set her just below my hip bone telling her your so heavy I just don't think I can lift you anyomore. With in a few seconds she asked to walk. Everytime I picked her up after that I put her in the same place and she asked to get down.
