pick me, pick me, I have an original 1955 Chevy truck (second series) and as a grandma, am trying to do it myself. I did a new head gasket last year, and am sanding and priming it this year...C

My 19 year old son has the perfect 67 chevy for your show. He was in an automobile accident at age 15 and developed this hobby while recovering. He would rather work on this truck than eat. He has spent much time and money and this vehicle is giving him fits. We are willing to contribute in any way. Please help!!!

Ok so a two part question...one I am from canada and would love to know if there is any way we canadians get get on the show?...two, my ex husband has a 88 eddie baurer ford bronco that has sat in our driveway for several years...the reason it sits there is because my ex husband has put his life on hold for me...I was struck by a truck in July 2000...have been left with several disabilities such as incomplete spinal cord injurie among other things...my ex has been the primary bread winner for both he and I and our two children for the past three and a half years...he has put his life on hold for me...he is my ex but he is my best friend...I would love to repay his comittment to our family by getting the ride of his life on the road...so how do I get on the show or can I...hope to here from some one who knows...thanks a great deal Pat

I'd like to know how to submit a car as well. I have a 1978 Mustang II Mach 1 with an EFI 5.0/T-5 drivetrain (originally equipped with a 302/4spd), that's in dire need of a makeover (paint, some bodywork, etc...)

Thanks,

We bought a 1950 Chevy coupe 10 years ago for my son's 16th birthday. My husband and I redid the interior, had a CD player installed and did some other minor fixes. My son loved it for a year, then decided he'd rather have an old pick up. What's up with that?

So, we took the Coupe back and my husband decided he would restore it himself. It sat for 3 years and he began to work on it. He took all of the crome off and fenders, among other things and began to sand it. It is now down to the bare metal and has sat in our garage for 5 years. We can't drive it, or enjoy it. It just takes up space. I keep trying to nudge my husband into working on it. I would love to take weekend rides in it or use it for special occasions, but he just won't fix it. Please give it an overhaul. Tell us how to be involved in your show. It sounds like it's going to be a good one.

Sincerely,
sc=tom

Project Car- '67 Ford Galaxlie 500
My wife saw one of my buddies restored '68 Mustang and thought this was the best of the best. I purchased a '67 Galaxie as a project car to build for her. She thinks the car has cool lines and she likes it, but "it's still not a Mustang", as she says. I want to change her outlook on this car and make the Mustang be an after thought. The only problem is that we are in Dallas, Texas. Will you be taking your show on the road like when you came to Texas and did Lance Armstrong's GTO? I'd be willing to ship it to you.

My Dad had his 1966 Chevy for as long as I can remember. When he became ill, it just sat in the garage and started to fall apart, which broke his heart. Right before he died, he told me to give it to his great grandson and let him and his Dad fix it up. My son-in-law took it home and parked it in the garage with every intention of doing just that. Then, out of the blue, my daughter and him divorced. He lost all interest in anything. Year after year, my grandson asked to work on the truck. Years passed and my grandson is now 15, waiting to get his license. The beautiful truck is a mess. He asked for my help. I am very ill with a rare cancer and don't have the money to help. I want so much to carry out my father's wishes. Could you find it in your heart to help my grandson. He is a wonderful boy and never causes anyone a minute of trouble but no one will help him. I thought maybe by the time he turned 16, this truck would be ready but not the way things are now. If you have time, I hope you can find a way to help him. Thank you so much. hello overhaulin! This is Benny from way up in Fairbanks Alaska. Kinda a great opportunity to visit the great state too! My father owns a 1972 SST Javelin Comet Red with a 304 engine I believe. He loves the car and has owned it since 1990. It used to run and only has one rust spot that i can see on the rear driver side rear fender. The interior needs to be completely refinished. I have been attempting to get this car running again for him as a surprise. He raised 8 children with my mom and never had money available for up keep on the vehicle. Currently my mother is in New Jersey taking care of her father or my grandfather. He is 98 years old. My father gave everything for his kids and if only I had the resources available i would fix it up for him in a heart beat! I have already had someone rebuild the tranny but it just needs so much more TLC.My father is always paranoid of people taking his vehicle and he gets so many offers to buy take it off his hands. He just loves it so much that I don't think he can get rid of it. five years ago my father had heart surgery and doesn't have the energy to do anything to repair the car and has been forced into retirement. I think it would be the most awesome retirement gift he could ever receive from the family. Thank you guys and thank you for the great show!

Hey Overhalin crew!
My name is Baylee White. I am contacting you becaus eof my dad. He has an old GMC pickup that is a pretty bad condition. It is losing most of its seat. Paint is chipping. It is rusting. He has spent about double the amount on fixing it and taking it to the repair shop than he actually paid for it. We would get a new car but our family is in a bad financial state due to the economy and that has made it impossible to purchase a new vehicle. My dad is very deserving of this truck. He was diagnosed with kidney failure at a young age and has had two kidney transplants. My dad is one of the greatest people I know and I am sure if you met him that you would see just how awesome he is. I would be greatly appreciative of you if you could contact me at my email- baylee.white@yahoo.com. Thanks so much!
