Dr. Tabor, The debate over whether Jesus was human or divine, buried or bodily resurrected, is a case of getting ahead of the game. I have seen no evidence that Jesus is an actual historical person. The Gospels date decades after the supposed death of Jesus and their authorship cannot be verified; the Gospels are hearsay at best. Is there any extra-biblical evidence of Jesus' existence? (Excluding the bogus "quote" by Josephus.)
Otto, google search for the letter Benjamin Friedman wrote to Dr. Goldstein, jewish convert to catholicism who published a newsletter for jewish converts, this letter quotes page and para out of various volumes of the Soncino edition Talmud. These 2 jewish intellectuals were concerned about how the Talmud treated the persona of Jesus, it don't make for flattering reading. They have quite a few quotations.
