Dear Dr Tabor, Well done.. I enjoy reading about early christian civilization. What is the meaning of the symbol on the entrance wall? did someone interpret the symbols on the wall inside the tomb alluded to at the end of the documentary?

i wrote also about the symbol under screen name"fish head" 'not chevron, fish head'. symbol looks like a disquised symbol of christians' fish to me. no answer back from the doctor though. and ,to me, if you really look good at that faded triangle under the eye it looks like the tail. ??? peace be upon you

I think that this should be the crux of some investigation. If the symbol is Christian, then that skews the statistics far into the realm of high probability that this is Christ's tomb. The vast majority of tombs in this era must have been non-Christian, Jewish tombs. However, how much Christian symbology could have been developed at or around the time of Christ's death? Important point though.
