it appears a lot of you were so fixed on the dragon visuals that you weren't paying attention to the narration during the first 10 minutes which indicated that the dragon corpse wasn't real but, a fictional depiction. This is because Patrick stewart used the words "What if" in reference to finding a dragon the mountains which should have indicated to a person with evan a marginal english comprehension that the dragon finding scenario was hypothetical .

there are some ppl who didn't have a chance to watch the first 10 mins of the special. But if i remmeber correctly, after every commercial break, there would be a reintroduction to the "what if". but many people would be away during commercial, thus creating the confusion of thinking the show was real. people with channel surfing

yeah i noticed the whole play on words "what if" i really did like the show, but i thought bit of a waste of time, i like their theoies and everything but honestly i wouldnt have invested the time and energy because we all know there is no physical evidence that dragos exist, but thats just my opinion...

from the preveiws they made it sound like they found something. Turned out to be a big fake out and a waste of my time.

The reason why most of you are so hacked off at the fact that this was fictional was because YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVED BEFORE YOU FOUND OUT IT WAS FAKE!!!!!

I think they just tried to make a good aniamtion and story show, instaed of spendimg time on there theorys. I hope if they make a 2nd one they test out and make sure there theorys work, because the Dragons were no "Beiliveable" as the show says they were "Impossible"

the fire breathing theory makes sense cuz hydrogen is a possibility for cars to run off of, but it's too dangerous right now cuz how we use it it's unstable(could cause an explosion). I never did see if hydrogen is lighter than oxygen and carbon dioxide though

^ the fire is fine but the theory like they when to the sea to suvive the KT event is totaly impossibl,e there weight (even the baby Dragons) made it impossble for the Hydogen to help it fly. The Preistoic Dragon, was just to big, and shaped to wrong for it to fly well at all!
And with out those theorys the whole show falls apart as impossble right?

Get it? It is VARY Possible but they didn't spend enough time to make it credible they had 3 years. my theory that took me like 45 minutes to write was more realistic then the show.

we still don't know what wiped out all the dinosaurs, so why do they stand by that a meteor is at fault?

As a Dinosaur expert that is easy to answer there is a Rock boundery knoun sowly as the KT boundery.
There is a HUGE Creater near the gulf of mexico that is dated around the time of KT event. and rocks from the creater have been found ALL over the world. meaning this is world wide. so we have alot of proof of an asteroid.

and barly any evedence to tell us other wise.

Having an Aquatic Dragon is a possiblity, but The Dragon in the show lived in the cretcious period..right? so why would an animal for no reason cange from Air to water in such a short time ? and it jsut leant to breath Fire right (Im not sure I mist like 15 mintes of the special) go into the water? they ahve fire! an aniaml that is so evolove wouldn't go un-balance it;s self for no reason.

i noticed the "what if", but I was convinced that they were only taking off from the "dragon body" and assuming that these creatures existed (marine, forest, and prehistoric dragon).

conclusion: if animal planet was trying to remind it's audience that a body wasn't found, they did a horrible job of doing it.

is that they were tring to do is make it possible that a dragon could live here we just never found one yet and i hope they do.

Meteor/Asteroid hits Earth destroying 75% to 90% of all land life and roughly the same for Aquatic.

Aquatic dragons were mentioned in the pre-strike and post-strike segments of the show. That is to say they water dragons were around before and after the meteor strike, but AP didn't go over them until the Chinese dragon part.

We are around as mammals because of some irradiated shrew that survived the strike. :P

Had dinosaurs evolved human like intelligence... Well we would be around as realtives of polly parrot I imagine. LOL Actually, the Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC had/has a model of what humanoid intelligence dinos might have evolved to look like. Surprisingly, it is very close to what Alien Grey looks like.

there is scientific proof that there was no cosmic winter. something having to do with bees surviving it, and bees only survived on honey. where does honey come from? plants. hence plants survived, hence plant eaters didn't die, hence carnivours didn't die! HA
