Hi! I'm looking for the recipe from a certain show I saw (I already did a recipe search without any luck). The guy on the show asked his girlfriend to marry him. I think they coooked braised beef over polenta. I'd love the recipe for both of those if anyone has them. Thanks in advance!
I know i am looking for that too.. i really want to make it.. it looks easy to make but again, no recipe on the website so its harder to know how to make it. i so wish i taped it!
"GRIFF" "The Proposal" - ***Braised Beef in Red Wine*** 1 large chuck roast, fat and membrane trimmed, cut up in large chunks. Dust lightly with flour. Braise in hot skillet with Olive Oil. Remove beef from pan. Add small amount of Olive Oil to pan drippings. Chunk up carrots, shallots,(red Onions, celery, garlic. Add to skillet with rosemary which you take out before serving. Cook Veggies for about 5 minutes. Add about 1 cup of red wine. When the wine is reduced, add the beef back into pan with veggies. Add some beef stock. Cook until done.
