In the OH midwest, plum sauce is not popular but my Canadian spouse swears by it. He puts it in almost everything eh.
His fave is a sausage and penne dish made with plum sauce, hot Italian sausage, penne pasta, and all the colours of bell peppers he can get his hands on. I'm always trying to write down the recipe but he's too fast in his prep.
Family and friends keep saying we should market this dish. I think his secret is the dash of hot red peppers but he won't tell me
