2 cups pecan halves 2 teaspoons chili powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper 2 teaspoons salt 2 teaspoons evoo 1/2 cup good beer 1/2 cup sugar
1. preheat oven to 350f 2.in a bowl mix nuts, evoo, andsalt and spices. spread on to foil line baking sheet. toast 10 min or until fragant. cool on wire rack 3. in sauce pan stir togeather beer and sugar until mix reaches 250f then stir in nuts off th e heat. spread and cool on sheetpan.break up nuts after solid into pieces. serve
