I am writing you this message because I realize that you periodically check the boards and because I want this to serve as a testament to how extraordinary your recipes are.

First off, I love to cook. I grew up in a household where the ability to cook was highly prized and for years now I have been considered among my family and friends as "the chef," but cooking what I was accustomed to wasn't really helping my waistline. I tried cooking various healthy recipes from other chefs and nutritionists, but none of them were as flavorful or gourmet-tasting as I needed them to be. Then, I came across your television show and immediately went out and bought both of your books. (I am also eagerly awaiting your newest book due in April).

Not only have all of your recipes been wonderful, but my husband's response has been unbelievable. When I made your Be a Babe Black and White Cupcakes, he said, "These are best cupcakes I've ever had in my life." Then, when I made your version of a Big Mac, he said, "Ummmmm... this is the best Big Mac I have ever eaten." And finally, your meatloaf... Meatloaf is the only thing he's ever told me that I didn't make well. I've tried many, many meatloaf recipes to no avail. Then, I made yours, and it was, "This is the best meatloaf I have ever eaten, and it has a kick!"

So thank you, thank you, thank you. I now get to make all of the gourmet-tasting, decadent food that I am accustomed to but make them much healthier. And I still get to reign among my family and friends as "the chef," but I owe you all the credit.
