well hi everyone. this is my first letter, and my first forum ever. i have a sun conure, lucy. i think she,s a she. about 2 years old. what a spit fire. and before her i had a little quaker, sophie who was disabled. i cared for her for about 5 years or so. i was devastated when i lost her to a virus. lucy, my present parrot is a sweetheart. all though, she exhibits some rather odd behaviour from time to time. she fluffs herself all up and seems to hump my hand, or foot. is this a male then. i am sure it is humping. should i discourage this? she does not get all territorial or anything. anyway, nice to say hello to everyone, and i look forward to many bird stories. and if anyone has any questionsabout how to care for disabled parrots, maybe i can help.
