i am getting 2 cockatiels--male & female--for christmas but i have absolutly NO idea what to name them!!!! can anybody help me!!!!!

Well, I named my tiel Ash since he's a whitefaced tiel and he's mostly grey. Icarus or Hermes would be a good name for a male bird, though I have a female budgie named Hermes but the name fits.

Not sure what to tell you with female tiel names. I just got a female tiel today and have no clue what to name her.

I named my parakeets Jerry and Falco!

Ha, thanks to my brother's fiance my female now has a name! I now have Ash and Misty. Ha! Get it? From Pokemon. I liked the idea.

Ashtiel those are cute names!!!

Also alot of my friends name their birds after what they look like.

Examle: you have a small bird, name him Runt! Or you have a yellow bird name him Big Bird!!!

Of course these are only examples most peole would never name their bird Big Bird!!!
