I don't think amazons have red beaks do they???

Lovebirds do come with red beaks, green body, MOST common in colour mutations red-orange chest & head & they can have white rings around the eyes. The one you described sounds like a Fischers lovebird. Most noticable things about Ficshers is red beak & white rings around their eyes. They can come in many colour mutations.

Lovebird. The red beak indicates that it is not an amazon.

kimfoster may be correct in saing that it may be a Fischer. I can't really say without a picture, but the colors make me think Fischer.
