I am leaving for a 3 day trip at the end of the month, I have 2 parakeets that I love so much and they rely on me to put them to bed, feed them, change their water, and play with them 4 or 5 hours a day. I am leaving them with my mom but she is going to be at work for 12 hours a day and by the time she gets home I doubt she will want to play with my birds and give them the amount of love that I give them. I cant stand the thought of them being lonely or scared and them thinking that I left them. I plan on buying them their favorite treats and toys to keep them occupied, but is that enough? What can I do to make sure that they don't go crazy without me there. I hate even leaving to go stay the night with my friends, thats how hooked to my birds I am. Are they going to be OK?
