My male cayuga duck chases me and my sister when we yell or sometimes he just chases us....And then he tries to bite our pant leg or shoe...why does he do this?

Oh ya and a few days ago well....uhh....How do i say this....I picked him up while he was biting my pant leg and he wouldnt let go and was wiggling his tail back and fourth and I think he was trying to...mate.
