Bruce, I wanted to thank you for your genuine anthropological technique while documenting your travels abroad. All too often there becomes an "us" vs. "Other" dynamic when living and working among members of other cultures. I feel you do a superb job of genuinely taking interest in the cultures with which you interact, and I applaud your ability to at least try everything once! Thank you. It's been such a pleasure watching the show!

I agree 100%.
The 5-ish episodes I actually got to watch were a real pleasure. This show is truly innovative, and makes my heart happy. Connecting with people from such radically different cultures is simply fascinating.
Each show has reminded me that although methods and habits can vary a great deal, we are all very similar in nature and should all love and support each other.
Great production!

I like the show a lot. Anything dealing with tribal people is very interesting. But ism't it perpetuating an illusion that anthropology is only about looking at exotic tribal people like zoo animals? I mean, we're all the same, deep beneath. The value of tribal ethnology should be in finding this commonality, rather than, "look at those silly bush-bunnies" if you know what I mean. How about a segment on the Naciremas?
