There has not been anything officially said about canceling the show that I know of. It was said on this forum by a poster who was in an episode last year.
Right now, in the U.S., I would say there is a big demand for paranormal shows.. ghost hunters is doing very well, so well in fact they have sister show called ghost hunters international, and then there is 'scariest places on earth', 'scary but true, and there are several others whose name fails me right now. I always record the new paranormal shows because I just love em all. These shows are entertaining and very interesting, if Discovery stopped making new "A Haunting" shows I am very dissapointed and I think someone there made a mistake.
I stoopped watching the show when I realized that they suddenly all became re-runs... it was like out of nowhere they ran out of shows? Come on Discovery, make more more more shows!! Oh by the way, whoever made the old shows on discovery I gotta tell you man I give them major props.. we're talking about some incredible suspense, the scariest houses and the music was just about award-winning in terms of effect. This was no joke, this show. It is greatly missed. I hope that as we speak, more shows are being taped.
Anyone know anything for sure on this? is the show cancelled for good or are there being more shows taped right now?
The show was not cancelled. The show is produced in Canada and has a very short season, only six shows are made per new season, so reruns come into paly very quickly. The new season is being made right now in Canada.
