I think "A Haunting" is entertainment, pure and simple. Does that mean it's real? Does this mean it's fake? Yes to both. I'm sure there are people portrayed and interviewed in the shows for whom the reported occurences were real, and I'm also sure that there are a lot more people watching the show who for whatever reason, need it to all be true. For me though, it's just entertainment.

i think they are real stories that have been spiced up a bit. i really enjoy this show but you have to take it with a grain of salt as they say.

I think both of you are right. This show is like the 100% truth compared to others like TAPS or that haunting show that was on vh1 with the celebrities..that one reeked fake.

LOL! Most Haunted is funny, in a pathetic kind of way. The so-called medium seems to only confront angry spirits. Then he unleashed this false bravado, yelling at them to come forward, show themselves, daring them into a confrontation. LOL! I can only guess he does this with unseen people because he doesn't have the nads to challenge living people. Sorry, it just makes me laugh to see a man acting tough to someone who isn't there and can't respond. It makes me wonder how many times this guy got beat up on the playground.

As for TAPS, I'm posting below a copy of my feelings toward them that I already posted on a previous thread:

TAPS is a fraud. I've watched these plumbers for a while and they never find anything real. How can they when they only spend a single night in a place? After that one night they declare the place either haunted or not! Gimme a break. I grew up with ghosts (plural) in my house and they appeared rarely and never because someone wanted to take their picture. Say CHEESE! You're on TAPS!
The one video that polarizes most TAPS fans is the one taken at the prison where it appears as if a dark entity approaches the camera then moves away. But anyone who is honest can see it is a person under a black sheet. As soon as the 'entity' backs away you can see the sole of a sneaker beneath the sheet. The moron should've wore black shoes. Even the team leaders questioned it but chose to leave it 'inconclusive' rather than admit a member of their team tried to perpetrate a hoax.
'Nuff said.

What do you suggest everyone watch on tv?

whether you think it is real or not you probably still watch so what does it matter

but know one reads the book,but no one does any research at a book store to locate all the books in print, no knows there are books out there to conjure up, do u not read anything but the tv-guide?
