Just thought it would be interesting, there are several books that go with the Haunting episodes.

House of the Dead: Dark Force

Summerwind Mansion: The Carver Effect

Dark Forest: Echos of a Haunting

Deltona Haunting: Dread and the Dead Filled the Dunnam House (my personal favorite)

Where Demons Dwell: Devil in Connecticut

Fear House: The Uninvited (comes out this summer)

Dark Wrath: The Wall A horrifying true story of a haunting

All of these books can be purchased from amazon except for The Uninvited.

And possibly the scariest (and hardest to find) for A Haunting In Connecticut: In A Dark Place- The Story of A True Haunting.

That was one scary book.

Oh, great. More lies. What, was his orginal book not "scary" enough? Roll Eyes

His story and his book is a hoax fabricated by a group of Evangelists to further their cause, thats all.

If your really interested in this episode, check out his website at www.thehouseonchurchstreet.com. A picture of the house where the bones were found is shown, but the home was eventually destroyed. Another picture is shown of a possesed table, which really gives me the creeps!

***Actually the story is not a hoax as you may think. www.thehouseonchurchstreet.net is a website that I have put up for my father whom the story is about. The .com site is going to be replaced by the .net site soon anyways. It is not a hoax by fabricated evangelists at all. The story is true, the video holds true accounts and the people are real.

www.youtube.com/rjaymz02 is where you can view the unleased from A Haunting, that I posted on there. With Video you cannot see on Discovery channel only the original copy could have what I posted that I got from my father Randy R Ervin whom is a real person being that I am his son...

Most of the people that lived around that area say they never heard or witness anything. Of course Xtians wont think its a hoax, others do! Besides, have you read the book?? ITS AWFUL. THeres all these silly things to give the story the spook factor--like a table that he has in the house that supposedly cursed and that being the reason for that hauntings. And do I need to mention the indian grave plot taken from Poltergeist??

***Well you can believe what you choose to believe. This story was not broadcast all over the place when it happened. Do remember this story did happen back in the late 1970's. There are people who still till this day remember things that have happened there located on church street in standish michigan. Other homes were haunted near where the house once stood because of what happened. There were neighbors effected by what happened in that house. Have you not finished to book to ever find that out?

If you actually knew the history of arenac county you would know that there are indian burial grounds threw out the entire state of Michigan(which is an Indian name)and some indian burial sites are unknown locations. They found an indian burial site in Bay City a few years back when they were building. They had to abandon the site because it was considered sacred ground.

Why do you think there are so man Indian names threw out the entire state? Because it was inhabited by Indian tribes over hundreds of years. The cursed table was not what caused the haunting to happen. If you read the history of what happened in the story you would know that it was my grandfather who found the bones under neither the home, they were inspected and found to be Indian bones over a couple hundred years old. On top of that there is a back story of the reason why my father bought the book on witch craft was because my great grandma always spoke of buried money that her mother and father brought and hid when they came to america.

He bought the book to summon spirits to help him find the money because the map had been hidden away due to a curse that was suppose to be on it if non-family members found it. Instead of them helping my dad find the money he stirred up something else that caused the hauntings. Indians put curses on their dead to keep grave robbers from the sites, the book was recited in the house above the indian burial site which caused ALOT of this to go wrong***

I've looked and looked and can find no trace on this book online. Did Randy sue the publishing company? Might be the reason.

I'm not sure. Randy's book says that it is the title of the Witchcraft book. This the only answer I can get. Since this story takes place in the 1970's, the book is probably no longer around.
