dude taps is pretty rocking. but I'm not positive if it's true or fake. even if it's fake I might watch it. Why would they travel around a lot to do fake buissness so I'm still wathcing it. What does everyone else think.

I'm thinking, if I can get a free ride to ANY country and not have to promise any certified results - but get the free trip. why not? I would still go.

That's true. By the way like55. I noticed your only giving us like a few minutes to answer. You should just type everything once and then wait a day or two

Only because I saw one when I was nine years old. And this ghost was in my room for quite a while. This experience has never left me.
In college, my professor of critical thinking tried to explain away the experience as a hypnogogic (sp?) hallucination. He said that because I was awakened when I had my experience - so he claims I never completely awakened. But I know that is b.s. I have heard too many other accounts from very sane, rational people who have seen things when they were not in bed, people who have seen things along with another person. How do you account for that?
Also, I should add, that years later I went back to the property and the landlord there said he saw a ghost while standing in the kitchen, so he certainly had just not awakened! Poop on the professor! Lol.
There is more to this world than we know (Ack, isn't that the opening line to the show?). Well daggammit, its true!
I worked as an usher at a conference in S.F. last year for a foundation called Forever Family Foundation (you can Google them). The conference was scientists and PhDs were were discussing life after death. Not just people getting on stage to say they saw their son Bob, but doctors and scientists who study this in universities. All their current research is proving this is true.
Last thing, sorry to blather - Phran and Bob, the couple that put on the conference, put it on because they lost their daugther Stacey. Their story (they told me at dinner the first night of the conference) would blow your socks off. They were an average couple, husband sold insurance - knew or cared nothing about life after death, ghosts, etc.
Phran had a premonition one morning that something terrible was going to happen to one of her family. I mean a horrible sick feeling that woke her out of sleep, crying and all that. Long story short, Stacey died that night in a car accident. After that, things started happening in the house. Ghost stuff. Then Bob started to see Stacey's ghost. So they went to University of Arizona to talk to Professor Gary Shwartz, who is doing paranormal research there (you can Google him too).
He told them they wern't crazy. He helped them with their haunting, etc. They ended up starting a radio show (I believe its Thursdays, 7 eastern) and their website. I really got a lot out of meeting them and that conference did more to bolster my feelings than years of reading books, watching t.v. shows, etc. Seriously! I swear to God I am not a shill for them. They don't need one!
Anyway, that's my story I'm stickin to it!
Hugs, Starbaby

What would make a great mythbusters? This show is based on busting myths by creating inventions. Why doesnt mythbusters have a special on people who get credit for inventions that didnt create anything, they just stole the idea. I have many examples. Especially all the hype seen on TV about black people inventing the traffic light, the lubricating device, or even peanut butter (hello peanut butter was created by the Aztecs, last time i look carver wasnt alive!!, the list goes on and on. Im tired of the lies!!!

I've heard some pretty scary stories about ghosts that I would like to think are real. Ive also felt presence, though im not sure if that was just my imagination.
Im almost certain there are ghosts. My question is, are these ghosts spirits of the dead, or are they demons? Hmmmm!

I thought the dead went to either heaven or hell, because of that one king that went to hell and told an angel to tell all his family to avoid hell.

Yes, that is exactly the story I was referring to. Thanks! I'm pretty convinced that ghosts are demons. Just wish I knew for a fact. Has anyone heard of this story in New Mexico about a Bishop calling the police and reporting little people with masks in his home? Here is the link to the story: http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/new.php?n=10543It happened in 2007, and when I heard it on the news it freaked me out. Once I heard about it, I immediately searched it on the internet and found the police call he made, and its really scary because he describes these little people as gentle and wearing Halloween masks, and that they are climbing on his statues (I'm assuming religious idols). Here is the link to the call: http://es.truveo.com/Police-Release-Bishops-Bizarre-911-Call/id/3223097521There was more to the story that was released when I read it in 2007. One news article stated that the bishop said that he hid in the closet at one point and one of the little people went inside the closet with him. Ive searched all over for that article but couldnt find anything. But the update of this story just describes the bishop as basically crazy. Now I dont know if its true or not. But I believe that the bishop wasnt lying. Im thinking that those little people were demons and/or ghosts. Theres a lot of strange things about the entire story though.

I firmly believe in ghosts. I cannot deny the things I have experienced in my own life. I am not psychic, but I am sensitive to the paranormal, and though I have never seen a ghost,I have had many ghost experiences. I am currently writing a book on local hauntings and paranormal legends from my area, and write articles for the local papers on the paranormal. I also give a ghost presentation every Halloween that is packed with tons of believers and a few skeptics. Some of the stories these people have shared with me are incredible. I love the show "A Haunting", and only wish there would be some new episodes soon!

Agree. So these lil, short black shadows running in my home or peeking at me are MOST CERTAINLY not my uncle, aunt, cousins etc..

No and likely never will. Those who believe will go into any situation expecting to find ghosts as the explanation. That is not open minded thinking. Those who casually dismiss hypnogenic episodes or sleep paralysis really have already made up their minds. Again, that is not open minded thinking. Only when all those conditions, including vivid imaginations are shown to not be the cause, should one then look to otherwordly causes. I know this post will cause serious but I'm just open minded. I'll believe it when there are no other explanations. I won't believe it solely on anecdotes.

Careful...he could be a demon trying to get you on his side so he can possess you. I'd have a pyschic come over to see if he is or not.

Then you have nothing to be afraid of if I ask you to go to Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake, Wisconsin and sit on top of an old mausoleum from the pioneer days and stay there over night. Have you family tell me where you'll be buried a couple days later.

I'm freakin' serious...a man in his twenties made friends with a little dead boy named Jacob who turned out to be a demon and possessed him. And kids have gotten injured in the Dartford Cemetery.

No I never had (I stated that before). But i believe. I'll tell you why. Ghost stories have been around since, forever. While some are easily debunked , OK, say 99.9% out of a 10,000 stories are fake or rationalized, that leaves one real story. One real ghost story. Doesn't matter which one, its real.
Most of me does not want an experience, but then one little part does, just to validate my own belief.
