It's really sad how this show seems to be the sounding board for people who want to bash Wicca and the occult. Every show this afternoon as been about people being haunted and tormented because they picked up a book about the occult. Seriously? That's not really how it works. Of course there are good and bad things in this world, but as a practicing pagan for over 10 years, I can say with certainty that I have never met or known anyone who was possessed or haunted from picking up a book, watching a ritual, or even taking part in a ritual. As a matter of fact, most of the Wiccans and pagans that I know are some of the most spiritually uplifted and lit-from-within people I have ever met. It's really a shame that this show has chosen to show them in such a bad light by choosing the most inept, kooky "pagans" or "wiccans" they could find (put in quotations because I believe the people shown today aren't true pagans or wiccans, but dabblers who have chosen to advertise themselves as such in order to sucker people out of their money, rather than people who actually follow the true spiritual pagan paths that are out there).
