I found this story particulary interesting because, if I remember correctly, the house was designed to kill its occupants. It was the feng shui(sp) of the entire site. Does anyone know if this is really evidence of feng shui folks designing evil places? are they able to get spirits to places with feng shui? Not that I want to, but to think that it is possible to design a place that would attract such things is eerie.

The house had to have been built by someone not from that country, as the Taoist priest had stated that no one from China/Tawain would build a house like that.

You'd need a feng sui master to design that house. I suppose anyone could build it and the designer could be from anywhere, but it is a local art. Strange how it wasn't hooked up to power in a conventional way and it was designed to flood? what?

It'd take a lot more than a spider to get me out of that mansion. That place looked awesome. After a couple of really scary experiences with a ghost/demon/whatever then I'd be outta there ASAP. You'd have to leave to maintain your sanity.

Bugs and spiders don't scare me at all, it's the slithery things that send me running.

To each his own on the looks of the place, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think they said in the story that there was nothing else even close anywhere else in Taiwan, that was why they took the house and why they stayed longer than the Mom really wanted too.
beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
How true. It was a unique looking house. Too big for me though. I wouldn't want to clean it.
I think they said in the story that there was nothing else even close anywhere else in Taiwan,
Yes, they did.

I saw something over the weekend that said the the Bank of China building has very bad feng shui. Maybe one is related to the other. I don't think they ever said what line of work the father was in that drew the family to Taiwan and the company owned house. Interesting possiblilty though......
