Now I know that they don't really have a jaw that locks. You can go to www.badrap.com and it will tell you that as well. What people mistake for lock jaw is the fact that they have really strong will power. If they don't wanna let go of something they aren't going to. If a pitbull's jaw locked it would not be able to release it during fights or attacks. Which it does. The media has taken a beautiful and amazing breed and twisted it into something vicious. I think some how myth busters should do a segment on lock jaw. Just to show the public that it is a lie. Pitbulls are an amazing breed getting a bad reputation, it's up to us the pitbull owners to try and turn the publics eye toward the good of a pitbull. Socialize your pit, take them out to the park let them play with kids and other people. Mine love other people but are still good watch dogs. I have 4 right now and an 11 month old and they wouldn't hurt a fly.
