We've been thinking of doing the DNA breed testing where you send in some saliva and they test to see what breeds make up your dog, but we're sure she has JRT in her and that's not currently one of the 38 dogs they can choose. So we're waiting until the expand the "gene pool". In the meantime, some photos are attached for you to take a look at Lucy and please offer any advice on what you think she may be. We've heard a couple other things along with Jack Russell but I don't want to say b/c I don't want to put breeds in your mind. I can't wait to hear - we've been wondering for so long and hope you all have some good suggestions. I can't thank you enough!!

hey puppy_chick28! we almost have the same user id! I only did puppy chick25 because I love puppies and Im 25, anyways thats so cool!

Theres a test that many vets offer, a blood test, that can identify about 120 breeds.

I see JRT too, but other then that, it's so hard to say.

I noticed on your Dogster page that she was listed as Jack Russell/English Setter. You're right... it did put a pre-conceived notion in my head, but I definetely see the setter. Especially the spots on the ears, and the longer fur with the feathering on the legs. She looks kinda lanky like a setter also.

positively Jack Russel and maybe som wirehaired Fox Terrier? but the most obvious thing is hes sooo cute! He reminds me of my Jack Russel / Chihuahua he is also adorable... when hes not peeing on the neighbors furniture! lol
