Aww shucks -blushes- I simply try to educate myself in whatever topic I choose to research and having dogs and reptiles etc. i try to keep up to date on those things. it's just a habit for me. i've always been a book reader.

But yes I have one rottweiler sometime later this year hopefully i will have another. Sooner than that I will also be starting the foundation of a kennel project between my father and I, breeding work quality rottweilers home in Nassau, Bahamas.

We have already purchased what will now be our foundation bitch. She is a multi V rated german line bitch (Nora Nine Rott) and will be bred to this male:

I am excited to see what this litter will produce in terms of good strong typey rottweilers with strong working ability. I just wish I was actually going to be home and not here in school to watch the litter be born and develop.

Okay sorry rambling there but so completely on topic yeah >_>?

So personally I own one rottweiler but family wise my father also has 1 unpapered male, one Hungarian female and now one German female.

That's a video from this X-mas back home in the bahamas with my rottweiler Nova and my father's rottweiler Gold. No that isn't my dad in the video but our friend who runs a dog training business and trains Gold

I no longer have a Rott but do think they are a nice breed. I like the strong/powerful breeds and most molossers.

you know before I would've rather had a rott with a docked tail but after dealing with a dog that's got its tail docked I think I would go natural

well badkittyamy I don't want to get personal and stuff but are you a furry or something? I saw those FWA vids and at first I didn't realize what it was but when I did it creeped me out a little, well actually alot but hey its their lives.

No I'm not a furry not that it should really matter. So what if some people run around in animal costumes? It's no different than anime people dressing up as anime characters or sci-fi people dreesing up as spock or a wooky.

I wouldn't listen to what you see on tv. The video is from a furry convention and I assure you only 1 person i met there was creepy in that sort of way. And again even if they did how is it any different than other lifestyle choices. I can list a number of things normal people choose to do in the bedroom that could be considered far weirder.

I would say save judgement until you meet some of them and even then never judge a group by one bad person or encounter. You should know how twisted and ridiculous the media is you have pitbulls they are just as falsely accused of things.

I don't breed my female she has borderline HD and so was fixed. The only female we have bred was just shipped to my father on New Providence in The Bahamas. So she has not even had her litter yet. Hence the name of our kennel "Providence Kennels".

The breeding is between multi V rated Nora Nine Rott and Redwood Krest's Youk.( http://redwoodkrest.com/rottweilers/males/youk/index.html ) I'm not sure what GBI is? Most good breeders will ship so location isn't usually a problem. all three of the dogs we just purchased are from Washington and were shipped all the way to my dad in Nassau.

Hi badkittyamy, GBI= Grand Bahama Island, how old was your dogs when they were shipped? I want a puppy and was told that if i want to import one into the Bahamas it has to be 6 months old or older, is this right? which i feel is to old to bring into our house as we have cat's and it needs to grow up with them. We have a 2 year old male (a great big puppy) at the moment, My girl died last year, she was only 8 years old and we all miss her.

I would have to check the rules and what my dad could swing. 6 months isn't too old to introduce a dog to cats though. However the dogs we are breeding are from working lines so these won't be laid back dogs.

I will look around and see what the minimum age is because I'm sure younger puppies than 6 months have come in. i mean most breeders have all their dogs accounted for before the breeding (at least 6) so to have to wait 6 months seems silly I'll check it out.

Thanks, i will wait to here from you. I still think that 6 months is a bit old and big to introduce to 3 cats that will want to share it's food bowl and our cat's like to think they are the boss.

Do you have an e-mail or something I can contact you with? I don't really want to discuss certain things over a web forum. I think there's rules here or something against discussing puppy sales or whatever.
