In every epidode- everyone who enters the cab always accepts the offer to play "Cash Cab". Surely some people have turn down and rejected the offer to play. Is this a small percentage or a large percentage? Any idea on this?

I don't know. Maybe quite a few people simply don't want to be on TV for some reason.

I think it would be great to have a small segment on the show where you cover this topic. apperantely at least one person has said no since you ask everyone weather they want to play or not.

It seems as if I saw an episode in which some European journalists got in the cab, took some pictures and then they did not answer any questions after the commercial. Maybe I fell asleep during the q & a, but I don't think so. Does anyone remember this epi?

Yeah susanprof1, I remember that one. Although I thought it was Asian tourists. After Ben told them they were in the cash cab, they got out, took a bunch of pictures, then left. I thought it was hilarious.

Ben was on the Today Show this a.m., he said some do decline, due to being in a rush, going to the airport etc.

There have to be some people that refuse... say like the poeple that posted that the show should not be on the air on another forum on this site...
but also what about that person cheating on their spouse. Wouldn't go over too well, you are sitting there with your spouse watching Discovery, Cash Cab comes on and then you remember you had your mistress with you, when you hailed a cab!!!
Then your wife gets 1/2 of what you won. It worse than loosing the video bonus!!!

I don't think they show episodes of the people refusing to play...only if it appears humorous...like the Asians with cameras. This program would not be the same without Ben. He is a riot a and makes the whole thing work!

How did the European journalist suddenly become Asian camera buffs?

There was a couple on last week, the one's going to the Friar's Club. Can you imagine how embarrased they must be, getting 3 straight strikes? I guess you sign a release that even if you look stupid, they can still show the footage.

The one that I remember do believe they were three stuffy Irish/Scots and seem to recall they did have one or two cameras. They opted out and just got out. It would be good to have an episide to review those who also opted out. Do we recall the lady (from out of town?) that uttered something about "as long as you don't dump us in the East River". She was actually quite funny. Think they ended and with her saying again about not taking them to the East River. That was a good episode!

Yeah. I asked the same question kind of? So where do we our answer. I thing says ask Ben Baily, I thought it was gonna be like ask Survivorman, although he didn't answer my question either.
