I was wondering when the next casting call or open application period would be for the show and where we would locate it. The discovery channel does not appear to have a casting call listing on the website. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Hi! My name is Betsy. My son Caleb is turning 16 in November and it would be AWESOME if Chip was interested in helping him restore the 1972 Chevy Custom 10 that his grandfather gave him. His grandfather bought the truck new in 1972 so he would be the second owner. Caleb loves this truck and would love to restore it while his grandfather is still living. Caleb loves your show! He watches it all the time!! Thanks for your consideration.

HI I have a '96 mustang and I've been recently laid off. I'm in the IT field and a majority of the IT jobs are more than 20 miles away from my home in DC. Many of which would take 3 hours to commute to on the metro one way. My mustang has blown a head gasket after commuting to my last job which caused my commute time to double. That was 7 months ago in march. I shopped around and found a '99 crown victoria that cost less than replacing or rebuilding my mustang engine but after having two cars crash into me one of them being Rent-a-Center delivery truck (while it was parked) I haven't been able to get the car past inspection to get back on the road. After being laid off I could no longer pay for insurance on these cars. As of monday 10/26/09 I have two cars neither of which I can drive one for mechanical and the other for legal reasons and no insurance with no job. I'm hoping if I can get one of these cars to work I can get insurance and a good job.

My name is Anthony. My father owns a 1986 Mercury Grand Marquis. The car was owned by my grandfather and was his daily driver. After he died on 09/11/2001, the car was given to me as my first car. I drove it until it basically tried to fall apart on my way to a college class. After which, I purchased a different car and gave the car to my dad, who was unwilling to getr rid of it due to the centimental value. It needs a lot of TLC before it just rusts completely in my parents driveway. My father has really latched onto this car since my grandmother's death on 08/15/2009. The Grand Marquis is now seemingly his only link to his parents. I know it would mean the world to not only him, but me as well as my first car.

Thanks,

Anthony

Hey my name is Robert and my dad has a 1968 Ford F 100 short bed. Ive helped him throw a 302 in it and get it running but since the economy hit im affraid thats about as far as it will go. its been in an accident yet has so much more potential then how it sits. I think it would lighten him up to see his baby fully restored and rollin. and id also like to see his face when they take it away. please let me know when the next time u are taking applications so i can get him back to his old jolly self haha

Thank you

ROB

My husband is a rural carrier for the post office. He drives a 1975 AMC General postal jeep. On his route he is more than the postman because he checks on the elderly when they dont pick up the mail out of the box and helps people when they are stuck in the snow in the winter, since we live in Northern Michigan and in the snowbelt. His jeep now is painted with ALL of the OSHA colors so that he an stand out in a "white-out" snow storm. He loves his job and people here love him. His jeep is on a post card at stores here. The problem is...we have worked on it and worked on it. People here want him to keep it running and it needs so much work and we just can't afford to do what it needs done. Help Please!

I have a 1972 Dodge Charger SE, its in need of work, it was a project car for me but the economy destroyed that dream. if it was restored i would give it to my little brother for his 17th Birthday in March since he recently confessed to me that it was his dream car...just a small dream from a big brother
