Hi my name is Jason Jackson and I would be very appreciative if you would consider my wife Carrie and her Yellow, 1971 Convertible VW Super Beetle for your show. In 1978 her parents purchased the Beetle as a commuter car for her mother. In 1981 Carrie’s mom became pregnant with Carrie. A few months later her father blew the engine. The intention of her father was to rebuild it with Carries older brother for his first car. But during the process Carries brother acquired another Beetle and simply resorted to pick-a-parting the convertible to keep his car running. So the car remained in a garage for the next 13 years, at which point Carrie and her father began restoring it for her first car. Carrie instantly wanted to get new rims and tires for the beetle but her father put her off telling her that wheels and tires would come when the completion date was close. She worked (what felt like) every day after school and on weekends with her father to complete the bug. On her 16th Birthday her dad surprised her with a set a brand new set of chrome wheels, signifying that the completion was close. Carrie loved her beetle; it was a symbol of pride she happily drove through High school and Community College. When Carrie transferred to university the beetle was ailing from a failing gas tank (among other problems) and due to the commute she needed a more reliable car. Again the car was stored but due to another project it was left under a cover in the driveway suffering both the elements and neighbor abuse. In 2005 her parents moved to be near us and shipped the car along. The intention was that Carries dad would construct a large personal garage and they would fully restore the beetle with a proper place to store it. Last summer (August 2008) Carries dad was diagnosed with lymphoma. He began Chemo and his prognosis was that he would survive. Just before Thanksgiving, (as a consequence of another medical procedure) Carries dad developed a Blood infection. On February 6th 2009, Carries dad passed away. There were a lot of things that bonded them together, but the strongest by far was the days they worked on that car. Although she is adamant about restoring her little convertible, sadly I believe it to be beyond our skill level to repair. I know it would mean the world to her to be able to once again cruise around in her Beetle, top down, with her memories blowing through her hair. Please overhaul her car.
Thank you for your consideration,
Jason Jackson

Hello, my name is Brightpath Surber. My husband is a huge fan of your show, and it has always been his dream to have Chip Foose overhaul his vehicle for him. He had a '55 Chevy Bel~air, which he had to get rid of when he was 17 years old, because he just could not afford to restore it, and that car was in his family since it rolled off the lot.
My husband has served in the US Army for 5 years now. He has served in Iraq, and would do so again in a heartbeat if given the opportunity. Unfortunately, before he joined the Army, he had to sell that Bel~air in order to get a more reliable vehicle for work, and he has been heartbroken every since, as that was a family vehicle, passed down through generations. He bought a '91 Camaro, only to get into an accident on his 18th birthday which totalled the car and his dreams once again. Then he puchased a '93 Chevy short-wide pick-up which he used his money from working two jobs to fix up. Eventually, on his way home to a graveyard shift for one of the jobs, he was in another accident which took that vehicle away.
Only after he joined the Army and deployed, was he finally able to buy a new vehicle. He owns a 2008 Ford Explorer which he put 22" wheels on, tint, and a competition stereo system. Still to this day, his dream car is that '55 Bel~air. We are unsure where it is now, but he has vowed to one day find it and restore it. My Husband loves muscle cars and cars of any kind, but if you could either help him to make his Explorer a vehicle worthy of SEMA and drag ready, or find his '55 for him, I would so greatly appreciate it. He is a wonderful, selfless man, who has risked his life on several occassions to make life that much safer for Americans. For his entire life, he has had to work his fingers to the bone for everything he had, only to lose it in some unfortunate manner. Please help me to show him that doing the right thing and being selfless does pay off. Please help me show him that people appreciate what he does in the Military to keep us safe, and please help me to give back just the smallest possible amount to him after he has given his family and friends so much over the years. If ever there was a man tat deserved the honnor of a Chip Foose custom vehicle, it is my husband. Thank you so very much.

I am a new fan of the show and it is a blast to watch! I was wondering if you ever considered overhaulin a jet boat. My boyfriend has a 1977 kona jet boat and I think it is retro and cool. The paint job is toast but you can see how cool it was.

Overhaulin’ is the one show all whole family agrees to watch together. We Love your show!

First, let me tell you how a 1955 Chevy became apart of our family…

In 1982, SFC (RET) Ronald C Diaz, was visiting his hometown of Escondido, California. During his trip his then girlfriend, Linda, surprised him with a black 1955 Chevy 210 as a gift. Afterwards, he towed it back to his duty station at Fort Hood, Texas. After a few years at Fort Hood he came up on orders to Germany. He then brought the car overseas to Osterholz-sharmbeck, Germany where him and his wife, Linda, of now twenty six years had a baby girl named Chanel. This is when the 1955 became a family legacy. Chanel was driven home in the 1955 Chevy from the hospital after she was born. She grew up measuring the length of her little legs on the floor mats, and her arms by her ability to touch the top of the window. While living in Germany, Ronald had many offers on the car, but his love for his car never wavered. After a few years, he returned to Fort Hood where he was deployed in support of Operation Desert Storm. During the Gulf War, Ronald was deployed to Saudi Arabia where he earned the Bronze Star. During this time many adjustments on the car went on hold. During her father’s absence Chanel missed her Sunday drives with her daddy and was often found crawled up in back seat sleeping. After his return, he kept the car in good condition, but put his family first in providing them with all that they needed. Then in 1996, after his twenty year retirement the family returned with the 1955 back to California. Working for an overseas job as a tank mechanic Ronald returned for another year to Saudi Arabia to earn money to help build his wife’s dream home. Since then Ronald has had serious complications with Hepatitis C, has beat cancer, and is recovering well. Unfortunately, we have to remind this strong, stubborn, loving man that the doctors told us to make him take it easy so work on the car once again has gone to remission.

My name is Chanel Diaz. I am the proud daughter of SFC (RET) Ronald Diaz. I am a Sergeant in the United States Army and have served two tours in Iraq. I may be a Soldier who has seen combat, but I am 100% daddy’s girl. My father is a wonderful hard working man, and has always put his family first. The amount of love we have for this car is undeniable. Many family photos include the 1955. He also has a 1993 ford ranger, with over 200,00 miles on it, and because he has kept up good maintenance is still running good. He is the kind of man that makes sure his wife has a newer, more reliable car, that his daughter knows how to take care of herself is she breaks down, and puts his own needs on the back burner. I would like nothing more than to see my dad have his car running the way it deserves to be so him and I can go on more Sunday drives.

The 1955 Chevy 210 has a 350 engine with a 350 turbo transmission, with the original stock suspension, and replaced chrome bumpers and repaint.

Feel free to email me at chanel.diaz@us.army.mil . We have lots of pictures to share! Thank you!

I'm not sure if this is the correct area to apply for the show, as I had little success finding another area for an entry. My request is simple, I would like for my Dad's 1999 Chevrolet Silverado, regular cab, to be restored. The car has always been taken car of and my dad drives it everyday to work in honor of his late-brother.

My Uncle passed away around 10 years ago, I was only 13 at the time. He passed away while in his sleep while only at the young age of 44. Devastated by the loss, my dear-late grandfather passed away just months later.

Much time after the deaths, the truck came into our possession. It means much more to us, as it hold sentimental value. Nevertheless, its age is apparent, as slowly it is slipping past the functional stage.

I dearly would love to do this for my family in particular my dad. He and mom have helped again and again in life, and I don't think I can ever repay all of their generosity. This restoration, would be my thanks to them for being great parents and individuals.

Please help me help them in saving this car as it holds many fond memories. Thank you for your time. I apologize if I have written this in the wrong place.

My name is David Burleson, and I can be reached at davidlburleson@mac.com anytime. The car is in northwest, AL but I would gladly drive the distance if necessary. Thank you for reading.

Hello, my name is Autumn. I am writing you to see if you could help my husband. He is in the Army stationed at Fort Campbell and is going to be deployed in May. We have been married for 5 months but dated for 4 years. I am a full time college student working towards a bachelors degree to become a teacher. He bought a 1978 camaro z-28 ?lol(I think thats what he said it is) That he has fallen in love with but he has a hard time finding the time and money to fix it up, since i cant work and he is always training. He has been trying to fix the engine and put a new exhaust on it but it keeps giving him problems. He keeps it at his mother's house because it keeps leaking oil and our landlord was getting mad. So if you could overhaul his car i know it would put the biggest smile on his face and it would be a great way to show him how much i love him and am so proud of all the things he does for all of us.
thank- you so much

If the show has interest in a 1969 BMW 2000 (yes, a 2000, not a 2002) then let me know. I can provide all the necessary details on the car and the owner.

To Whom It May Concer-

I would like to have our 1965 GMC pickup on one of your Overhaulin' shows. It is my husbands truck. He purchased it with the idea of rebuilding it for our son to drive when he reached 16. My son just turned 15 and the truck still sits. The truck still runs and we use it for pick up necessary activities. We live in LA county, and of course, love watching your show. Thanks for considering our request.

Hello I don't even know where to start, but I love the show to start. I don't know if this is the right forum to ask how I would get my wife's truck on the show? She owns a 1993 chevy fullsize pickup truck and she's only 5"2' she had all the intentions in the world to make it a show truck, but due to some really bad things happening here and their it does'nt look like it's going to happen. She did lower the truck and bought a rim and tire setup for it, then a tree damaged the drivers side a little. It's something I would love to get done for her for bein a great wife and mother, she wants the truck to look aggressive because she likes the looks she gets when they see a small woman step out of a truck that big...lol Soooo if their is another way to do this or fill out an app I would love to. I know you get a million requests for this on a regular basis.

My son Brad, who is serving in the Marine Corps stationed in Washington, DC for the past three years has always wanted a Buick Reatta. He finally was able to buy one after about 10 years of wanting it. It's a 1991 Buick Reatta Coupe. Unfortunately the car is in poor shape and getting worse. His dream is to restore it to show quality to be proud of it and keep his rare car alive for as long as he can. He always tells me that only 1200 were made that year and he seems to thrilled to have it. Sometimes his heart is bigger than his ability and his funds and I know he is so disappointed he may not be able to keep this beautiful car alive. I also know things are hard for him, as he has been injured for most of his enlistment, is going through a messy divorce and is generally facing the unfairness we call life. My son is the most kind and giving person I have known, using his limited knowledge to keep my car on the road as well as being so helpful to anyone he is able to spread his unlimited kindness to. He seems to always give and give to and for others and he leaves nothing for himself. I live to see the smile on his face and I know you can make that happen. Please make this Marine's dream come true and make his rare car into what I know he wants it to be.

Hello my name is Luis Delgado. Im a student at UTI Collision Repair and Refinish at the Houston TX campus. I live with my roommate who he is simply one of the nicest most kindest person that you are ever going to meet. He is always there for you and I believe that by overhauling his car which he has had for more than three years and he is so passionate about it. His goal is to make it the sickest 2004 Honda Civic SI hatchback out there. But do to school, trying to find a job, struggling with his personal life, it's really hard for him to accomplish it. You have no idea how i see him making his wish list for the car, that even sometimes i see him down in tears because he cannot get to his goal. He is that person who puts his family or friends before him. There is nothing he would not do for his friends or family and I have personally been a part of that, and i don't know what other friend i can consider better. Sometimes i even consider him as my brother and what a better way to repay him back for everything he has done for me than to have his baby overhauled. Also i see the show all the time and i know that you mainly focus on muscle cars and classics, and i believe that this car can be something different, something to add flavor to your show by overhauling an import. My Roommates name is Manuel Escudero. So please guys at overhaulin make my roommate's dream come true of having the sickest hatchback out there and showing the import world that you guys not only do muscle cars and classics but that you can also make some sick imports. One last thing my roommate, is perhaps the biggest Chip Foosee fan out there. He even dreams to work for him when he graduates from UTI. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Hi there my name is Cory and I have a 1970 chevy c10 fleet side long bed 2wd pick up that could really use some attention. I live at 4720 Dalea Pl Oceanside, Ca 92057. I like working on it but I'm in the Marine Corps in Oceanside and recently have become a father, so as you could imagine my time and resources are very limited. If I don't quite meet the criteria for being a candidate on the show could you offer some resources for paint, body and mechanical help. Thanks a million,

I'm assuming this is where I apply to have my car overhauled. I cant find anything anywhere else.

Anyways, My name is nick goss and I'm hoping to have my mom's 1983 toyota celica supra P-type overhauled. We bought it from a tow yard not too long ago as a spare car because the car she was driving at the time was running on its last leg and actually died finally about a week after we got the supra.

My mom's name is Dianne . We live in a 2 bedroom mobile home and at one point had 8 people living in it. She works her butt off 5 days a week to support the 6 people currently living in the house. Money is always tight but it doesnt get her down. We all do our best to make her life easier but I feel she deserves way more than she's been getting. I can't put in words how much my mom has done for everyone around her; not just physically but mentally and emotionally, and its about time someone tries to give something back.

Every car she has had in the past few years has been trashed from her letting people drive them.
The interior of the cadillac she had was trashed, her van was wrecked, she gave her mazda to my brother & his ex wife so they could get their kids around and the taurus she had died going down the freeway. Not once did she complain about any of it. She just moved on.

Please take this application into consideration. My mom really deserves something great and I wish I could do it myself.

Please & thanks. Nicholas Goss Big Grin

He bought it about a year ago with the promise of his stepdad to help him fix it and get it on the road. His stepdad still hasnt done anything and he really cant afford to restore it himself. He talks about it non stop and i really think he deserves it. He is such a good kid, and he thinks about everyone else before himself. It would mean the world to him if he could drive his dream car. Please overhaul this car for him. thank you for your time.

Hi my name is Charles Wofford and I would be very appreciative if you would consider my 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback for your show. I Purchased it in 2007 when I returned from Iraq. Since then My Wife has deployed to Iraq and I deployed to Afghanistan. My wife and I have served 10 years each in the United States Marine Corps. We have 3 Young sons and no extra Money or Time to fix the Car up ourselfs. Daycare for all 3 Boys is Half of our Paychecks. The Car looks ok from the outside, but there is rust in the frame and I am unable to drive the car out of the garage. It has been my dream to have a classic Mustang and I would appreciate it if you consider overhaulin' my car.

Hello my name's Samantha. My dad has a 1979 Chevy Corvette. It's his baby but it sits in the yard. From what Ive heard my father has always wanted a vette ever since he was little. He traded his bike in 1998 to get the vette and it was only driveable for about 2 years. My parents spend all of there money on my brother and I and do nothing for themselves. I think it would fabulous if they had a two seater hot rod to drive around in. My dad always watches your show and he admires your work. My dad would do anything for anyone without a second thought. He's a christian man who deserves a little pat on the back. As much as he would like to get the vette on the road we just don't have that kind of money right now with the way the economy is. He was recently laid off from a job that he has worked in that field for 25 years and is having trouble finding another one in the area that we live in. My father is my hero, he is the strongest man I know, He is giving and an all around great man. Please consider remodeling his baby. Your work is beyond amazing just like my dad and it would make him more than exstatic if his vette was even drivable. Take care and God bless

Please make her dreams come true since it is her time to finally get something great in her life.
