Dear TLC, My name is Kathleen Alarcon and i am writing in regards to the OVERHAULIN SHOW. My husband, Edward 24yrs old, recently bought a Black '92 GT Mustang Convertible, his all time dream car as a child. Yet like i said it's a '92 and has several things wrong, like the convertible top has a couple rips and leaks in the rain, engine and exhaust leak, needs body work and has spots of rust throughout body. My husbands main "thing" was to buy a fix-me-upper to work on and pass on to our two boys. Watches the show all the time and wanted to fix everything just like Chip and "Get his hands dirty" like he says... Yet the real reason i ask for your OVERHAULIN help is because we have had one heck of a year. My husbands in the ARMY and last December 08 was deployed to Iraq. OUR FIRST DEPLOYMENT with two young boys and right be for the holidays. Once he left we discovered that his mother was diagnosed with tumors metastatic cancer, and he had to return to the states, Red Cross, twice between the December-April months. April was when she past and was granted to stay back in Fort Hood, TX which was 8 hours away from home, (El Paso,TX) due to the emotional toll. We finally we got the chance to buy the DREAM CAR of his childhood a '92 Mustang, he was happy and rolling back up the hill when we got the news that he also was diagnosed with a calcified mass in his brain, which his mother also had. I am in desperate help trying to bring light to his life again and make him believe again. PLEASE TLC HELP ME SHOW HIM THAT NOT EVERY STORY HAD A BAD ENDING... Thank You Very Much, Kathleen Alarcon
