Hello Chip, I hope this posting reaches you. I am writing to you in regards to the man of my dreams, my husband Kenny. We have been together for 31 yrs and married for 26 yrs. Unfortunately my husband was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, which is a bone marrow cancer about 12 years ago. We have been fighting this disease, which is incurable and he has impressed all the physicians with his will and fight to live. Kenny is the type of person to beat all odds and he has. During the years I have heard several doctors tell me that he has out lived his life expectancy. Which I understand that they are judging him on statistics. If you were to look at him you would never know that he was as sick as he is and he is usually in good spirits all the time. Just recently we were in the hospital and he was watching Overhaulin, like he does almost everyday. The show that he was watching was were they overhauled Lance Armstrong car. At that moment it hit me like a ton of bricks. Why not reach out to your show and see if you sould surprise him and overhaul his 1998 Ford F150 truck that he has been talking about refurbishing for years. He just does not have the strength to accomplish all that he would like to do in life and I know this would be such a great way to honor a great man to me. So I am writing to see if you would consider making a dream come true for a very faithful fan. I know he would be too excited and overwhelm if we could make this happen for him. I realize that he has a good life but this would make it better. Thank you for your consideration and I really hope to hear from you soon.
