Not sure this is how you sign somebody up, but this is all i can find...

Hello,

My name is Lexi, i grew up in a single parent home with my dad, Sparky, he has been driving the same 1989 dodge ram my whole life due to the financial limits of being a single parent. Not only did he raise my sister and I alone, he works full time and still finds time to help others in any way he can. He has a passion for computers and everything that goes along with them, so in his spare time when he is not helping my sister or i pay off our own bills hes helping others fix their computers on Geeks2go, an internet help site where hes one of the top dogs, i guess you could say, he has also been building and donating computers to underprivileged kids in our community for the past few years. Anyways long story short, as any old vehicle thats been driven hard his old pickup has seen better days, the tranny is about to go out along with having over 300,000 miles on the rebuilt engine. Truth is he loves that pick up and dreams of someday being able to fix it up into the truck it once was. We are in need of your assistance, and i know Chip Foose is the right guy for the job. Thank you so much and good luck with all your future endeavorers.
Sincerely yours,
Lexi

Overhaulin,
My boyfriend bought me a 97 Camaro so that we can both enjoy it when we are home. He goes to school in Baltimore, MD and I live in Virginia Beach, VA. He bought me this car for our one year and the previous owner promised him that there was nothing wrong with it. There are several major problems and I can't make enough money to fix the damages to drive up and see him or go very far because I was told that the car might over heat and burst into flame. This is my dream car and he made a huge sacrifice for me to buy it. I want this car to be overhualed because it's my only car and I sometimes fear that I might be stranded. I also planned on earning enough money and buy myself another car and give this camaro to him. I know it sounds selfish to have this done for me to go see him but I am planning on giving it to him once I get the money to buy a different car. I don't make very much and it's hard to get this one repaired. Please consider me and my 97 camaro to be overhauled. If you can, please email me at toakase42@gmail.com.
Thanks so much,
Tonja

not really sure what I am doing but here goes nothing. My fiance has a 1969 Dodge Charger, which he has taken apart, the shell is the only thing left, all other parts are in my attic. He is a mechanic and his dream is to restore this car, which he does not have the time to do because he is off fixing other cars for family, friends etc...And working very hard as a mechanic. So as I stated his dream is to have his little baby charger up and running....Please consider this as no one deserves it more than him...

Thank you

Ok. I have one for you that I think would be pretty cool. From what my husband tells me the car that he owns is pretty rare and its even more rare to find one in such good shape. He owns an early January '55 VW Oval Bug. He also has quite a few rare original pieces right along with it. He has been holding on to it for the few years that hes owned it in the hopes of restoring it. Unfortunately, at this point, hes not been able to do that and with a baby on the way it looks like its going to have to wait that much longer. Why does my husband deserve to have his prize Bug overhauled? Well. Hes my husband and Im just SLIGHTLY biased so I could give you any number of reasons as to why I think he should be chosen but if my husbands car is really as rare as he says it is then I think that alone should be reason enough. Dear Chip and A-Team

Hi my name is William and I Have a 1986 Mustang LX convertible that really needs to be overhauled. The mustang is my mothers baby that she bought when I was around 12-13 years old, it was her dream car and still is. When I was 16 she gave me the car, she said she was giving her baby to her Baby. Well about 6 months after that I wrecked the front of the car (not totaled). I kept the car under a tarp out side for over a year hopping one day I would have the money to fix it. Well worse came to worse and I had to sell the car for $500. About 2 years my mother found the car for sell in the local auto trader for $750. It is still apart
but has a all new front end, top, seats redone and lots more parts. Well that is all good but my step-dad had to have open heart surgery and now they are debating on having to sell the car, cause they don't have the money to keep it or fix it. I know my mother loves this car a lot and it would break her heart to see it go again. Also, I would like to mention my mother is fully disabled, she can't work and only has one kidney. I just want to bring a little joy to my mother who has gave so much to me. There is so much more to this story and I would love to share more. And even if you guys decide not to work on this car maybe you all could give me so advice on who or where is can take it to get it fixed. I am married and helping my wife through college to be a teacher,so i don't have hardly any money but I would gladly give what i have to this car to make my mother happy. Hey I can only hope this might work. My name is Skye, in 2001 my husband had a mazda RX7 that was stollen. He wanted to get it back but because the police found it on a weekend they just had it taken to impound and we couldn't afford the charges to get it back. Last year I found him another one but since we have gotten it, it has dont nothing but sit on the side of the road not running. It would be so perfect to have his second RX7 dream car get stolen again and have it overhauled. His pick up truck that he currently drives is on its way to dead and we just cant afford to buy something else. He has to have a way to get to and from work. We love the show and I hope you will consider stealing his car
Thanks

Hello my name Matthew Sperandio and I am filling this Application of Overhaulin for my father Joseph Sperandio. I watched the episode where the crew took Chip's family truck the black 54 ford truck I think it was and seeing Chip's reaction with his father and the family truck really touch me on a father/son bases. I do believe my father deserves an Overhaulin, because like Chip my father always puts people's needs before is own. He doesn't expect to be rewarded for the work he does no matter what it is. He is a very hardworking man who gets rewarded very rarely and I would love for my father to be Overhauled. I know that it would the biggest reward he could ever get in his life. Like Chip my father also has a family truck. It's a Black 1950 Ford truck. It was a farm truck that went through alot of abuse during my father's childhood, but through my father's youth he restored everthing himself on the truck and my father wants to do more on the truck, but he can't find time for it, plus having two kids going to college limits his funds to do anything with the truck. So I am asking you if you would please grant me the biggest wish I could ever ask by Overhaulin my father's family truck so I can have that same experience has Chip did with his father. You can contact me personally on my cell # (417) 489-6954 or through my email matthu8686@gmail.com Thank you for your time.

Dear Overhaulin',

My brother Nathan bought a 1966 Ford Mustang when he was about 16 because it was super cheap so he could actually afford it, and it has always been one of his dreams to have a fixed up classic mustang. It was in bad shape when he got it (which is why it was so cheap) but he worked on it bit by bit until my mom's back was broken in 2004 and she became disabled. At that time, Nathan (only 20 years old) became the sole provider for me, my mentally challenged sister and my mom. He is a very hard worker and deserves the world so I wanted to nominate him and his mustang! It is still in bad shape because he wasn't able to fix much due to the lack of money and he has put it on hold for the last 5 years while trying to support the family. This is the biggest way I can think of to thank him and show him how much he is appreciated. He is the most incredible guy I know and deserves this and so much more. He needs to be reminded of his dreams and that they can be accomplished. He stays so stressed trying to make sure we are ok that he forgets about himself. Please help me teach him how to dream again! It would be a tremendous blessing for him and for us. I miss the sound of him laughing. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

Overhaulin,
I am a new fan to the show, and I think it is awesome what you guys do. My dad has a 69 GT-6 Triumph that is in need of an overhaul. This car was a big part of my life as a child growing up, and an even bigger part of his life. He was in the Air Force and saw us to many different places. One of the longest relocations was from Houston, TX to Washington state and back to Houston again. And let me tell you, it was an interesting trip in a car that size. Over time our family outgrew what this car could provide, but my dad insisted on keeping it. As stationwagons and minivans came and went, the ol Triumph sat in the garage collecting layers of dust. About 10 years ago once my siblings and I were out of the house, my dad started a restore project on the car. It quickly turned into too big of a job for him from a financial and a "know-how" (lack of a better phrase) standpoint. The car is a rather unique vehicle. I am hoping it sparks your interest and gets selected for an overhaul. It would mean the world to him and my mother.
Thanks for your time.

Hi Overhaulin!!
I'm Elena and I live in Washington with my boyfriend, Steve. I didn't start watching this show until I moved with him...it's a really cool show. Lately, we've been going through a lot of stress. He has unemployment... almost lost the house... a lot of his guns are in the pawn shop... has three cars and none of them run!!! I feel really bad because my parents are the reason why he got fired. Anyways, he's been trying to get one of the three cars running... but it doesn't seem to work out. And his backyard looks like a car lot!!!! He hasa Benz (idk what year), an Accord ('84), and Century ('92). He just got another Century ('93) that actually runs, but unfortunately, I'm the one using and driving him around. I don't know if anything can be done, but I wanted to give this a try... so I hope you can help!!! He doesn't know I'm typing this so I hope he doesn't get mad. lol.

Thank you for your time!!!!

when my son was 15 ytrs old he asked me if we could do a project car.i told hhim that i haven't worked on a car in 20 yrs. i told him that i would look for a car.i found a 1970 chevelle 396ci 4 spd.wasn't in too bad of shape but passable. so i bought it for him for christmas. i wss out of town working and when i got back, the car was off the frame, he said he wanted to build it up from the floor. so we went ahead and started to redo the whole car.as i said i haven't done this ia 20 yrs,so we started,it didn't turn out to bad, but needs alot more work. he loves this car so much that he had it tatooed on his stomach. he calls it his baby. i'm retired now and can't too much anymore, i figured maybe i would get lucky and get on the show. i watch your show all the time, and love the expressions on the peoples face when they see their new car.
thank you

Hi my name Jen. I could tell you a sad story or give you a long line of reasons why you should choose us, but I am not going to. What I will say is we have an 86' Chevy Corvette that chants overhaul everytime we open the garage door. This is one bad car. When you start the engine you can feel the floor vibrate and nevermind when you give it a little rev!!! Our dust collector isn't broken and doesn't have a story to tug at your heart strings. What it does have is a strong motor and a sound body that is asking to be updated a little. Thanks for considering us and in the mean time, keep up the great work.

Overhaulin',

My friend Dennis is a very special person and I think it would be one of the best things that ever happened to him to have his 1964-1/2 Mustang overhauled. It has been in my garage for about four years since I was fixing some small things here and there for him. He loves the car, but the money is not there to finish it with things like a Factory Aire A/C system, etc.

He always helps with anyone who needs it and helped me a lot through the time I was unemployed. He is a single father and also helps pay for some of his son's friends college and gives them money to live on. All he demands in return is that they do their best and grow up to be good young men. I don't know how he is able to keep up with it all, but he has been doing ever since I met him.

It would actually be pretty easy to get a week or more without him noticing the car is missing since he moved from Houston to Austin to work. Please let me know what I can do to help may this a reality for him.

Thank you,
Gary Johnson

Hi Overhaulin Team, I'd like to nominate my step-grandfather. He has a dozen unrestored classic cars in storage. He drove all of them at one point. His 1940 Ford Opera Coupe is amazing. It's been in storage for 40 years. No rust and is a time machine. He was a bomber pilot in WWII and he first heard about the attack on Pearl Harbor while driving the'40 Ford. He and a buddy sat in the car listening to live reports on the radio at the airport. He's an amazing, kind and humble man,a time machine himself. He also has a '49 Ford Convertible in the same unrestored condition with just as many memories. Please consider him for one of your episodes. You guys do amazing work. Keep it up!

Dear Overhaulin,
My husband Keith is 42 years old and was recently diagnosed with Terminal Cancer. He has a 1951 Ford pickup that he has dreamed of restoring for years. Not only has he been a busy working father of 2 kids, he has been instrumental in caring for my sick parents for over 10 years. Unfortunately we lost all 4 of our parents 3 in the same year and then another one last year. So my husband has had alot on his mind and not able to start his project of fixing the truck. Now that he was diagnosed with cancer in July of this year he is physically unable to do it. Please help me fullfill his life time dream. I would love to see him have some joy out of this truck. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Hello,
My name is Michelle and my husband and I watch your show all the time. My husband has a 1970 amx that he has been trying to get together for some time. He is a coal miner and really doesn't have time to anything. The amx has been in his family for years, starting with his uncle, then his brother, and now him. The amx is so rare anymore that it is not easy finding things for it. We looked all over for a cowl induction hood like came on it, closest we found was a fiberglass one in Florida. He would be soooo thrilled to have this car finished. I would be honored to help you out with a good trick. Thanks for your time.
