i prefer the experience because he would just walk around and look at stuff and he was more funny. the new show is real "james bond" like. and there isn't as much funny stuff. why fix something if it ain't broke?

IMO, too close to call.

i like the format of JCE because, like nutsforjeff said, he was more funny. Plus the fact that he was just walking around in the filed seeing what he could see added a bit of spontaneity (sp?) even though there was a clear them to a show. With Corwin's Quest, i think they do a good job of informing ppl about animals and behavioral things, but it's just too planned. Instead of showing the struggles involved with capturing an animal to show to the camera, like they did in JCE, they just cut that part out and add in a clip that has to do with something completely different, and i think i like watching Jeff chase after snakes and armadillos and whatnot better.

Just like bren43 said too close to call, But I Do Not mind the james bond thing, I actually find it very entertaining. Altho I do like it when he has more comerical features in his shows. But to me they bolth have pros and cons (mostly pros -(positive and good) TO ADD,almost every time I watch Corwin's Quest there is small complications and comedy and seems to be very unplaned !!!!

i think both the jeff corwin experience & corwin's quest are equally good. they obviously have different formats in the way they present a featured country & the creatures that are living in it. the jeff corwin experience is more on the spontaneous, open ended script format plus we get to see more of jeff as himself where he kids around, occassionally we see his crew members on the road with him & the outtakes are there, too (which we like ... well, i like it!) whereas corwin's quest is more formatted in terms of the script. it usually shows a particular creature but in a more in depth point of view with regards to behavior and what makes them unique to the animal kingdom. the special effects are there and of course, corwin's quest is edgier! i like 'em both! as long as jeff's there...i'm happy!

I have been watching and am sorry to say I really don't care too much for corwins quest. I enjoy the jce a lot better. I feel cq has too much scripted stuff. I also feel it is trying too hard to be like other shows that are just out to get a shot of animals in conflict/fast moving excitement. I like the experience better because it is more about seeing the animal just being an animal. I like the gentleness of the jce and how you can enjoy learning about animals without all the constant in your face fast and hard to follow camera shots.
for now I will probably still turn on cq as I really like jeff as an animal show host, but will enjoy my reruns of the experience much more.

Jeff Corwin experience is hardly ever on. at least for me it isent. dose anyone know why?
