You know, I'm an american serviceman in the air force. I have been married to my German wife for 9 years now. She made a good point a while ago. The show "gun camera" that was on the military channel today, was listed as "WW2 air battle footage"....it is KINDA accurate. But, my wife kinda of hinted towards the fact that it ONLY showed US aircraft perspective...hinting that US aircraft in WW2 were the only aircraft to A) shoot enemy aircraft down B) were the only ones with cameras I know for a fact, that the German aircraft that had cameras, had more clear and color footage. Why didn't this show make it a point not to be biased and actually show some german footage of an american aircraft being shot down......are we that afraid of seeing it....or are we that arrogant, as to not wanting to show it????? I know how our guys fought, and i've seen most of the US footage before. So, if i am most familiar with our american footage, wouldn't it be WAY more interesting to see how the other guys did their work??? I hope you guys know what i mean. I just thought that show was way too biased. We should start thinking a little more on the global level. I see our equipment and soldiers EVERY day at work. I'm much more interested in seeing how other militaries work, and what equipment and training their bring. In this case, I would have liked to have seen some german footage. Why? Again, better quality footage.... Thanks
